Folly Field Real Estate, Hilton Head SC

Located mid-island and one of the oldest neighborhoods on Hilton Head, Folly Field real estate is a beach community of oceanfront homes and villas. While there are a number of rental homes and villas in this area, there are also many year-round residents. Homes in Folly Field range from typical beach cottages to large oceanfront mansions. Villas in the neighborhood consist of everything from one bedroom condos to deluxe, multi-bedroom masterpieces. Some of the villa complexes are gated and offer security, but in general Folly Field is an open neighborhood.

Shopping, dining, and entertainment are all within a mile or two of the neighborhood. Head south on Highway 278 and you’ll soon be at the Mall at Shelter Cove and the shops at the Shelter Cove Marina. In 2013, the mall began an extensive demolition and renovation project to create an open air shopping complex and park space. During the renovation there are still stores open in the remaining mall building space.
