About Me
Ed has been a Real Estate Professional since 1977 and a consistent multi-million dollar producer. Ed has held the Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS) from the National Association of Realtors since 1982 and actively pursues all opportunities in continuing education and training.
Born in Savannah, Georgia Ed grew up in Richmond Hill near the Ford Plantation and acquired a deep understanding and love of the Coastal South and its Unique Lifestyle. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Degree in Psychology, he was a founding member of the Eta Zeta Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at GSU. Ed’s wife Diana is a Human Resources Professional and is also a graduate of Georgia Southern.
Ed is active in the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors and serves as Chairman of the Association’s Professional Standards Committee. He also serves on the Association’s Legislative Committee to monitor and support area legislation that promotes the rights of home ownership.
Ed was the President of the Lowcountry Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter for several years, a local pilot’s organization in the Hilton Head area that promotes general aviation. Ed and Diana live in Sea Pines and are Members of Providence Presbyterian Church.
Ed’s favorite hobbies include flying (Private Pilot since ’72); scuba diving (Master Scuba Diver); fishing; biking, hiking and golf; plus physical fitness (conditioning for all the above). Ed is very interested in technology and is computer literate in the latest software and hardware, especially anything related to Real Estate Sales and Marketing.
When it comes to Realtors, Ed is a very practical Real Estate Professional with an exceptional knowledge and understanding of real estate in the Lowcountry. He is always available to assist his clients in their real estate endeavors and is a “hands on” agent before, during and after the sale.
