Like many communities in Bluffton, the private, gated community of The Crescent resides in part along the Colleton River and tidal marshes. With 400 homes and an 18 hole Arnold Palmer designed golf course within its 540 acres, the density of homes to acreage is greater than the higher priced communities along the river. The Crescent real estate listings fill a nice local niche with its beautiful homes, championship golf course, and moderate annual homeowner association fees.

Although this is a gated community, the Arnold Palmer Signature golf course is open for public play. Adjacent to the golf club is the community pool, tennis center, and fitness center that are all exclusive to residents of The Crescent.
